Phase Two
Behind the new West Quad we hope to construct a new Athletics Center and a new Student Facilites service. The playing fields will be upgraded, and (if the budget allows) a new Theoretical Sciences building will be added to the current Roosevelt Hall.
At the other end of the campus the Library and LaGuardia Hall will be upgraded. All the current collections will be rehoused in new, upto date stacks (free of mold and damp) and more space opened for their access and storage.
But the libraries of the future will hold more than books. Also planned is a new "HiTech" facility where students, staff and faculty will be able to "surf the net", search the collections, write papers, use multimedia, and in general take advantage of all the new (and yet undiscovered) educational technology.
