Xerox Copier Services
With the advent of a new contract for copier services at Brooklyn College, please be advised that the services of the onsite Xerox technician are no longer available. The following procedures have been established to conveniently place orders to meet your service and supply needs.
To request service or supplies, please contact ext. 2679 (COPY).
Have your Xerox machine model number and serial number available, and indicate whether you require service or supplies.
All service repair calls are logged and placed immediately to Xerox. The technician will respond within 2 hours to set up an appointment for repair, same day service is possible for calls placed before 11 am. All calls placed after 11 a.m. will be taken care of the next business day.
All supply calls will be placed twice daily to accommodate users. Please allow for 3-5 business days for your delivery. Please order supplies immediately when your last on-hand cartridge has been installed into the machine. We do not provide emergency/rush orders. All used toner cartridges should be recycled and brought to Central Stores or Central Routing for return to Xerox. Staples are not covered under our maintenance contract; please check with Central Stores before placing your orders.
Departments will be contacted by Auxiliary Services to obtain monthly copier meter readings. Please provide them with the Xerox metered count indicated on your copier. All readings should be submitted in a timely fashion. Departments that have difficulty obtaining their meter reading should contact Auxiliary Services at ext. 2679 (COPY) for instructions.
