About Degrees Conferred

The Brooklyn College Degrees Conferred reports document the total number of students receiving degrees during the academic year. Each Degrees Conferred report contains a series of tables. The first of these tables presents the degrees conferred by degree type only (i.e., BA, MS). Subsequent tables present degrees conferred by major program, categorized according to degree type. Majors are listed in alphabetical order within each degree type.

The Degrees Conferred Tables:

NOTE: When a degree is conferred upon a student who was a double- or triple-major, each major is given credit in the Degrees Conferred Report. For example, if a single graduate double-majors in Comparative Literature (028) and American Studies (008), both majors get credit for the same student. As a result, the total degrees conferred will exceed the total number of degree recipients for the given semester.
