About Student Engagement
The 2003 National Survey of Student Engagement is a nationwide survey intended to assess the degree to which students participate in activities that represent effective educational practice. The survey addresses a number of important issues related to student involvement in class, campus activities, and student extracurricular commitments. Available here in PDF format are two representations of the data: a summary of the frequencies of the different responses to the different items, and the means of responses for comparative purposes.
