Glossary of Terms for the Preliminary Form-A Enrollment Reports

The Office of the AVP for Budget and Planning produces preliminary enrollment comparison reports from the Show Registration file which is created from data collected in SIMS. The preliminary enrollment comparison reports are based on Form-A rules which are set by the University. The official Show Registration file is based on enrollment 21 calendar days after the first day of classes for the Fall and Spring semesters and is submitted on the 35th day of the semester. The Form-A report excludes counting students who are in the following categories: permit-in students and senior citizens. These rules apply only to the Fall and Spring semesters. During the summer semester, permit-in students are counted but permit-out students are not.
