Brooklyn College Celebrates Diversity With Lecture Series
Brooklyn College organizes a Diversity Lecture Series which features discussions and workshops designed to foster inclusion and diversity on campus and in the community. The free program is open to students, faculty and the general public. Panelists and presenters will explore ways to increase awareness and understanding across the lines of ethnicity, disability, gender, immigrant status, religion, socioeconomic status and sexual orientation.
“Brooklyn is one of the most diverse cities in the world,” said Brooklyn College President Christoph M. Kimmich. “What sets Brooklynites apart is a willingness to embrace our differences and celebrate the bonds and commonalities that make our community strong. This spirit is exemplified in our Diversity Lecture Series. All are welcome.”
