The HVAC unit is responsible for operating and maintaining the heating and cooling systems for the entire campus. This includes the primary equipment in the heating and chiller plants and the secondary equipment in each of the buildings.

HVAC Unit provides:

• Stationary engineers who work shifts 24/7 to operate the Heating and Chiller Plants.
•  Maintenance personnel who make scheduled inspections and perform routine maintenance for all mechanical systems that supply heating and cooling within 14 buildings. (Except window AC units)
• A staff that repair problems from the Work Order System and respond to calls about insufficient heating or cooling.
• Maintains all cooling units for all computer and telecom rooms throughout the campus.
