This group is responsible for cleaning all the buildings and grounds and maintaining the landscaping for the campus as well as providing move services for events, including graduation.

Custodial Operations provides:

• Staff of 62 people who work shifts 24/7 to clean 12 buildings and are available for emergencies that can occur 24/7.        
• Cleaning for 12 buildings includes daily cleaning toilets and classrooms, and other spaces such as hallways, stairs, offices, etc on a rotating schedule. 
• Immediate cleaning for emergencies such as roof leaks, toilet fixture over-flows, burst pipes, etc. 
• Cleaning entrances of buildings of cigarettes, bottles, cans and paper. 
• Removal of trash and recycling materials from all campus spaces.
• Arranging for removal of trash from campus with Department of Sanitation.
• Building entrance snow removal.

Grounds Operations provides:

• Staff of 7 people who do all grounds maintenance and landscaping.
• Removal of trash from outdoor trash receptacles.
• Providing set-ups of tables and chairs, etc for events such as fairs, seminars, athletic events, town hall meetings, and graduation.
• Maintenance of grounds such as trimming trees, planting flower beds, caring for and trimming shrubbery, cutting grass, maintenance of lily pond, and general cleaning of the campus grounds.
• Maintains and cleans roads, parking lots and walkways on campus.
• Removal of indoor trash of items that weigh over 50 pounds.
• Moves permanent furniture to new locations, and salvages old furniture.
• Clears public areas of fire hazards.
• Snow removal for campus parking lots, roads and walkways.
