Mini Makeovers

Special Projects Funded by Brooklyn College Departments

The college utilizes in-house and contracted resources to accomplish dozens of  renovation, construction, and relocation projects every year.  The projects vary in scope, from carpet replacement to rebuilding office spaces into completely new configurations.  Although smaller in scope than City/state funded capitol projects, the mini-makeovers require substantial Facilities oversight and require resources that must be separately funded.  To learn how to propose a mini-makeover project, click here.

Each project starts by consulting a Facilities Planning Project Manager to determine if the proposed work is feasible and what it would cost.  The Project Manager consults with BC trade’s staff as needed, and/or recommends outside contractors who may be needed to accomplish the proposed work.

The Facilities Web site will update the status of the projects as they move forward.
