Bereavement Leave

When a death of an employee's immediate family occurs, such time is excused not to exceed four days. At the next time keeping recording please submit documentation, which indicates your relationship to the deceased and the date of death, in order to be paid for your time off as bereavement. Immediate family shall be defined for this purpose as spouse, natural, foster or step-parent, natural, foster or step-child, natural, foster or step-brother or sister, father-in-law, mother-in-law or any relative residing in the household.
