Do you have a Brooklyn College role model?  Someone YOU look up to?

Now you can honor that person through our new Employee Recognition Awards Program (ERAP)! The Employee of the Month Program honored many special people, but now it’s time to try a new approach to staff recognition. The new program will shine the spotlight on a member of a specific category of employees each month.  This will give us a chance to CELEBRATE the unsung heroes of our Brooklyn College community. 

First up, for February, is the Non-Administrative Support Staff category.

This includes all buildings and grounds employees, persons serving in safety and security titles and employees in the skilled trades.

The categories of staff from which honorees will be selected during the Spring 2009 are:

March           Adjunct Faculty

April             Part Time Staff Members

May              Higher Education Officer title series and College Laboratory Technician title series

June             Full Time Administrative Support Staff

The Employee Recognition Committee will accept nominations for employees in the Non-Administrative Support Staff category through January 20, 2009.  You don’t have to be a member of the highlighted group to nominate someone. 

You can fill out a nomination form on line or stop by the Office of Human Resource Services, room 1219 Boylan Hall, to pick up a hard copy of the form.
