The CUNY Information Security Office has provided a resource http://security.cuny.edu/ for CUNY Information Security policies, advisories and awareness information.

Additionally, an online information security course has now been posted at the above web site. The target audience for this new course is all CUNY computer users: staff, faculty and students. The course is approximately 30 minutes in length, covering the basics of why information security is important and best practices.

Enrollment to take the course is very simple. Users simply enter their name, email address and CUNY School and then can immediately begin the course.

We encourage you to take this brief online course and to also promote the availability of this program with colleagues and coworkers.
