Brooklyn College Dial-Up
In order to access your e-mail, via dial-up, you must first set up your computer with
dial-up networking.
Considerations beforehand:
- If you intend to access files off the Netware server or access the printers on campus from the dial-up locations, install Client for Netware Network and IPX/SPX protocol. If you just intend to access the Internet and e-mail, you do not need to install it.
- Be sure that your modem is installed properly.
To check that a modem is installed properly, go to Start
-> Control
Panel -> Phone and Modem Options.
Then click the Modems icon.
