New Web Pages Debut
http://brooklyn.cuny.edu/
Brooklyn College’s main web pages have a completely new look. Visually, the site has an attractive new wrought-iron motif which frames each page. The main pages serve as an excellent "jump point" to other content laden sites within the College and beyond. The pages have been simplified with fewer icons and more content. The eight central links are: Welcome, Academic, College Information, Admission, College Life, Resources, On Campus, and Alumni.
In addition, a new floating toolbar enables you to return to the main menu for commonly used functions, or to access several key tools from any page. The directories have been updated and the website is equipped with a powerful new search engine to locate information on any of BC’s webpages.
Other new features include:
The Spotlight link will feature regular articles focusing on noteworthy events, projects and people.
In addition, the capacity for BC’s home page to reach alumni is an important area of development.
BC alumni live all over the world and consequently, the web site enables them to keep connected and up-to-date
with the College.
