ITS and the Library recently distributed Brooklyn College’s first Faculty Guide to Computing. The Guide is a resource to assist faculty and staff in how to best locate the many computing resources available on campus. It is a joint effort of the Academic Information Technologies and ITS.
Updated versions of the guide will be published periodically and an electronic version will be available on the college’s Web site. Readers are encouraged to forward comments and suggestions to ITS. Copies were distributed in the Spring and the Guide is available both in the Faculty Computer Lab (Library) or by calling x5861.

ITS is currently visiting college offices to perform a detailed computer equipment inventory. There are over 3,000 PC’s on campus and we will be inspecting each one over the next several months to gather detailed information about all monitors, printers, software and network connections. Each office will be contacted for an appointment. For security reasons, ensure that ITS inventory techs provide ID before allowing access to your space. We appreciate your cooperation and call 951-5861 if there are any questions.
