This fall Brooklyn College will inaugurate a pilot project intended
to enable qualified freshmen to earn a bachelor's degree in four
years and qualified transfer students to earn the degree in two
years. For
full-time students balancing college careers with work or family
obligations, the program will also feature five-year and three-year
extended tracks.
Called The
On-Course Advantage, the program will admit second-semester freshmen
and first-semester juniors holding associate's degrees who carry
at least 15 hours of credits with an average of "B" or higher. The
program offers these highly motivated and highly qualified full-time
students such advantages as expedited registration and guaranteed
access to required courses so that their studies can proceed rapidly
to conclusion. Eligible students will be identified for participation
late in the fall and enrolled in The On-Course Advantage in the
spring.
Eligibility
Students eligible for the program are:
Second-semester
freshmen who have completed 15 credits with an average of "B" or
