A Special Passport for Engaged Students

If you want to be worldly, the Civic Learning and Student Engagement (CLASE) passport program is for you. The program features cocurricular activities that will make you a well-informed global citizen and help you develop the self-confidence, motivation and support to succeed personally, academically and professionally.

You can expect to hone your leadership skills, become more multiculturally aware, do volunteer work in the community that makes a difference and burn some calories to build some muscle.

After you attend your first four CLASE events, you become a "passport holder." After attending your fifth event (and getting five stamps on your passport and meeting some criteria), you become an "ambassador" who will be recommended for scholarships and become eligible for a spot on the Annual Leadership Retreat and on Student Affairs advisory committees as well as for many other opportunities.

To learn more, visit the Office of Campus Civic Engagement and Voter Empowerment, 2110 Boylan Hall, or e-mail us at studentaffairs@brooklyn.cuny.edu.
