Hassett Appointed Acting Deputy Chancellor

The Board of Trustees of The City University of New York appointed Patricia Hassett, vice-president for finance and administration at Brooklyn College, as acting deputy chancellor of the university. She brings a wealth of experience in higher education to her new position, where she will oversee many operations of the university and work closely with Interim Chancellor Christoph Kimmich, Brooklyn College's provost.

Ms. Hassett has served for more than two decades in senior administrative positions in both public and private higher education. She received a B.A. from Richmond College, now the College of Staten Island, and an M.A. from Teacher's College, Columbia University.
