Several College offices including Public Safety, Central Routing Mailing Services and ITS,  are now using the energy-efficient electric Mega Van vehicles to make routine tours and deliveries around the 26 acre Brooklyn College campus.
With a load capacity of up to 981 pounds, the Mega has a 48 electric-volt engine that makes it ideal utility vehicle that has become familiar on campus since its introduction in September.
“We use the cars to do daily deliveries all over campus as it helps us get from one place to another with large amounts of computers, instead of having to make multiple trips,” said Daniel Weinwurzel of the ITS department about the new miniature delivery trucks.
