The City University of New York Athletic Conference announced its postseason Men’s Soccer award winners and all-stars Monday, and three members of the Brooklyn College team were honored by the league coaches. Senior forward Elis Llagami and junior defender Jean Menesky Magloire were selected to the CUNYAC All-Star First Team. Freshman defender Ariel Jaworoski was named to the Second Team.
Llagami, who appeared in 12 games for the Bridges, netted two goals and recorded two assists on the season. The energetic senior striker also played valuable minutes as a defender down the stretch for Brooklyn.
Magloire was one of the most impressive defenders in the conference this season, and while he did net one goal on the year, his worth to the team came from the numerous opponent attacks that he thwarted.
Jaworowski teamed with Magloire to give the Bridges an imposing defensive duo. The only Brooklyn player to appear in all 17 games, Jaworoski netted one goal and was credited with one assist in addition to his strong defensive prowess.
