Brooklyn College Volunteer Days
It’s almost that time of the year for campus and community beautification and clean-up!
On Tuesday, May 6th from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m., President Kimmich, VP Sillen and Dean Morales will join in the fun. Thursday, May 8th from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. is the last day of Volunteer Days.
There will be an array of activities, from gardening, to painting and planting, from which you can choose.
Please mark your calendars, plan to pack a bag of casual clothes (jeans, sneakers, t-shirts) and the pizza is on us! We would like to have as many students, staff and faculty participate as possible.
The BC Volunteers Program is a biannual initiative that began in 2000 and encourages participation from the entire campus community.
Our goal is to improve the quality of student life on campus by solidifying the bond between the student body, the administration and the faculty, and to engage students by providing exciting civic engagement opportunities that strengthen their ties to the campus and the surrounding community.
