In the second half, the Bridges were able to put some distance between themselves and the defending CUNYAC champions. In minute 63, a long pass of the foot of Ariel Jaworowski was booted into the goal by sophomore forward Vasyl Palinchak, giving the home squad a 2-0 lead. Goalkeeper Junior Michael Conway excelled between the posts in his first start for the Bridges. Conway turned away six Cardinal attacks.
