BC students and the New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG) are conducting a voter registration drive on campus in front of Whitehead Hall. 
    In photo: Mela Nichols, a NYPIRG activist, at the voter registration table on the Quad. A writing major, Nichols is the project leader for the hunger and homeless campaign. NYPIRG is a non-partisan, not-for-profit group established to effect policy reforms while training students to be advocates.
