BC Feedback:
College Launches New Online Faculty and Course Evaluation Survey

You’ve taken the class… You’ve done the work… Now tell us what you think!  We want to hear your opinion… in your own words!!

This semester the BC Feedback period will run from December 1st through December 30th.Since the evaluation survey is now online, you can complete and submit it from your home computer, a computer at the Library Café, or you can take a quick break at work and let us know what you think!

For the first time, we’ve included in our evaluation survey open-ended questions, such as, “What would you like to tell other students about this course?”  “How can the course be improved” and “How can the instructor’s teaching be improved.”  Your comments to these questions will provide a rich source of information about the ways our courses and our teaching at Brooklyn College can be enhanced to improve student learning and success.  As such, by evaluating your professors and courses this semester, you’ll provide a great service to yourself, your fellow students, the faculty and the College at large.

Plus, if you submit all of your evaluations you’ll receive these great benefits

  • Raffle – A chance to win cash prizes of $250, $100 and $50.
  • Immediate notification of course grades—in some instances up to 14 days before grades are posted!
  • Early access to your fellow students’ ratings and comments about their professors and courses in time for schedule changes!
  • The chance to play an important role in enhancing academic excellence at Brooklyn College.

Student evaluations are a key part to the College’s review of faculty performance.  Your feedback will help faculty and departments provide the best possible instruction. All responses are completely anonymous and your identity will not be associated with your evaluations.

It’s easy and only takes a few minutes!  Just log on to the WebCentral Portal (http://portal.brooklyn.edu) and look for the BC Feedback shortcut link and status page.

Trying to build a schedule?  Check BC Feedback reports on the WebCentral Academics tab to see how your peers rated the courses and the instructors you’re considering!
