Brooklyn College is hosting its first online auction, starting on Monday, May 21, to benefit the Brooklyn College Foundation. Here is your chance to bid on dozens of unique items donated by fellow Brooklyn College alumni and ensure a future for a new generation of Brooklyn College students. ....| more

The renowned Brooklyn College Conservatory of Music will be hosting Opera Scenes on Friday, May 18, at 7 p.m. in Levenson Hall. ....| more

Featuring two of today's hottest klezmer bands, Klezmerized provides music that is full of the celebration of life. Violinist/Composer Alicia Svigals has toured internationally, recorded five albums, and been featured on numerous national radio and television programs, including A Prairie Home Companion, Good Morning America, MTV News, and BBC television and radio. Metropolitan Klezmer returns to the Brooklyn Center on Sunday, May 20, with their superb musicianship, bringing to this panoramic repertoire an inspired, inventive approach that is "serious, melancholy, exhilarating and funny." ....| more

Saturday, May 19: Join the Southwest Brooklyn Alumni Chapter for a walking tour of Brighton Beach with Ron Schweiger, a Brooklyn College alumnus and Brooklyn borough historian.

Tuesday, May 29: The Brooklyn Academy of Music will host the 25th Annual Brooklyn College Student Film Festival. This event is free, and the first screening starts at 1 p.m., so don't miss it!

Wednesday, May 30: Brooklyn College undergraduate students, graduate students and alumni can participate in New Jersey Collegiate Career Day, featuring more than one hundred organizations recruiting for all types of positions from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Thursday, May 31: Rain or shine, this year's Commencement Exercises begin at 10 a.m. and will be held on the Quadrangle of Brooklyn College.
