How You Can Help Make News...

Do you know something about Brooklyn College that you would like us to publicize? Is there a story you would like to share with the outside world? Would you like to see a special event or program covered in the local media?

The Brooklyn College Office of Public Relations is always on the lookout for stories and ideas about BC people, programs, projects, or history that express the spirit and mission of the College. Who are the special teachers shaping our youth? What research is probing uncharted realms? What are the Brooklyn College programs and who are the Brooklyn College people—especially students—dedicated "to be the best?"

We invite you to share these stories with us. The Office of Public Relations has hundreds of media contacts in the local and national media and can work with you to create a press release and a web page that will maximize your media coverage.

Tell us who or what you have in mind and why yours is a compelling Brooklyn College story. When appropriate, we'll pursue your suggestions with outside media contacts or publish your story in the Brooklyn College Magazine, Around the Quad, or other appropriate text or multimedia format.

The Brooklyn College Office of Public Relations reserves the right to accept, edit, or reject any submitted story or idea, and to make all final decisions about the material we use.
