Text Version
BOYLAN HALL, the first building to be constructed, was named in honor of William A. Boylan, first President of the College. Ground was broken for this building in October, 1935. The College's administrative offices, many classrooms, the Faculty Cafeteria, the Student Cafeteria, and the College Bookstore are located in Boylan.
"If the college would lead her students toward those attitudes which will make them trustworthy leaders, it is essential that her own attitude be sound, true and honorable. Her ways should be ways of wisdom. Her spirit should sustain the faith in those things that are of good repute. She should extend her influence beyond the realm of sense toward that greater reality of things not seen, the ever lively things of the soul. " (From President Boylan's Inaugural Address)
