CASD 4624 Interracial Communication

Exploration of the theoretical and practical issues underpinning interracial and interethnic communication including identity, language, history, cultural influences, and theories in a variety of social contexts. Analysis of how prejudice, stereotypes, racism and self-concepts affect communication. Designed to improve students? understanding and ability to communicate across and within diverse racial and ethnic groups in the United States.
