CORC 3318 Math and the Law

3 hours; 3 credits

Mathematical, statistical, and probabilistic underpinnings of legal decisions and legislative mandates. Correlation and regression; probability distributions; methods of statistical inference; hypothesis testing.

Prerequisite: Junior standing and satisfaction of any three lower-tier core courses.
