PHYS 4100 Analytical Mechanics

Review of Newtonian mechanics; oscillatory motion and resonance; Hamiltonian and Lagrangian mechanics; two-body motion; kinematics and the inverse square law; rigid-body motion; normal modes.
Prerequisite: Physics 4000 [16].
