Two terms. 4 hours and independent work§; 4 credits
Intensive study of American arts as they express the values of American culture. Four credits may be counted toward the requirement of no fewer than 18 credits in advanced courses in one of the following departments: Departments of Art, Classics, Comparative Literature, Speech, Theater, Television and Radio. Students may take each course for credit once. Prerequisite: Special Baccalaureate Communication 1202 [10.4], Special Baccalaureate Humanities *1204 [10.4], Special Baccalaureate Social Science *1208 [10.4], Special Baccalaureate Science *1214 [10.6], and nine credits in advanced courses in art, classics, comparative literature, English, modern languages and literatures, music, philosophy, speech, theater, or television and radio.
Prerequisite: enrollment in the Special Baccalaureate Degree Program for Adults.
