US Media Law. First Amendment. Intellectual Property. US Media Policy History. Digital and satellite challenges for policy and law. Theories of public interest and deregulation. Cultural and political implications of law and policy. (This course is the same as Television and Radio 3535  and Communication 3300 .)
Prerequisite: Television and Radio 1165 [6.5] or permission of the chairperson.
