Advanced Yiddish language. Further development of skills in idiomatic speaking, reading, and writing Yiddish. Introduction to classic Yiddish short stories and poetry by Sholem Aleichem, I.L. Peretz, Isaac Bashevis Singer, and others.

Prerequisite: Yiddish 1003 [3] or the equivalent.
