Religious conflict in the Roman Empire. The relation of Judaism and Christianity to their pagan environment. Emphasis on research methodologies. This course is the same as History 3310. (Not open to students who have completed Classics 37.)

Prerequisite: English 1012 [2] and at least sophomore standing; or permission of the chairperson.
