Close reading of select portions of the Ciceronian corpus. Exploration of his different genres, particularly the relationship of style and content. Texts considered in light of their socio-political context. Students may take this course for credit twice but may not repeat the same texts. Qualifies as a LOTE (Language Other Than English) course for Pathways College Option purposes.
Prerequisite: Latin 3112 [12] or Latin 2119 [1.9] or permission of the chairperson.
