The minor in Thanatology provides students from all disciplines with a foundational grounding in the study of death, dying, and bereavement. This minor is suited for students who wish to go into fields where they will interact with persons experiencing death, dying, and bereavement, or for students who simply wish to understand the individual, social, and anthropological dimensions of these experiences.

Department Requirements (12 credits)

A minimum of 12 credits, including Health and Nutrition Sciences 3314, and at least three courses from the following: Health and Nutrition Sciences 3180, 3181, 3186, 3187, 3188.
