Supporting Documents for Matriculation:
Submit the following documents to the Office of Graduate Admissions:

- Transcripts from all colleges and universities attended (applicants who earned a bachelor's degree outside the United States need to submit a 'Course by Course International Transcript Evaluation.'
- Two letters of recommendation.
- Resume.
- Statement of purpose (800-1000 words).
- Essay addressing the following two questions (approximately 1000 words total):
1. Choose a specific topic receiving attention in the news today (health-related, conflict, economic, education, etc.). Briefly discuss various ways one might examine the way that issue is covered across the spectrum of news media.
2. What is one area, either within a segment of the media industry or in media scholarship, that you find particularly compelling? Why?
