Supporting Documents for Matriculation:
You may apply to up to two MFA film disciplines, indicating your first choice. Please note that students are accepted into only one discipline and once accepted, are not able to transfer into another discipline.

Submit the following documents to the Office of Graduate Admissions:
- Transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
- Resume
- Statement of purpose
- Two letters of recommendation
- Portfolio (submit at https://feirsteincinema.slideroom.com)

Statement of Purpose instructions:
Write a three- to four-page (double-spaced, 12-point font) statement explaining your purpose in undertaking graduate study in cinema arts. This is your opportunity to articulate your goals, interests and career plans as they relate to pursuing an MFA in cinema arts. We are trying to gain a sense of who you are and the distinctive experiences and interests that have motivated you to pursue this degree.

1. Choose a feature film that you admire and explain in five pages or less (double-spaced, 12-point font) what specifically impressed you about the film in terms of content and production.
OR
2. In 10 pages or less (double-spaced, 12-point font), write an original treatment for a feature film that you would like to produce, including one page explaining why.
