Admission Requirements for graduate program

Supporting Documents for Matriculation:
Submit the following documents to the Office of Graduate Admissions:

1. Transcripts from all postsecondary institutions attended (applicants who earned a bachelor's degree outside the United States need to submit a 'Course by Course International Transcript Evaluation.' http://www.brooklyn.cuny.edu/web/admissions/graduate/apply/documents.php)

2. A master's degree is also required for admission into this program.

3. Two letters of recommendation from supervisors

4. Resume or CV

5. Copy of New York State or other state teaching certificate.

6. In a personal statement of approximately 750 words, explain your reasons for pursuing a degree in educational leadership; address evidence of professional effectiveness in your current position; and describe your leadership vision and professional goals.


REQUIRED TESTS:

I. F-1 or J-1 international students must submit English Proficiency Exam. TOEFL- 79, IELTS- 6.5, PTE- 58-63, Duolingo 105-160.

Applicants will be interviewed.

All students accepted in to the School of Education are required to submit fingerprint verification before signing up for most education classes. Verification is needed if you already have fingerprint records or not.
