The Department of Psychology is known for its extremely accomplished faculty members and research in myriad areas that truly advances our understanding of a multitude of aspects of the human brain. Students gain deep insight into what makes us human, how we experience information and emotions, and how this knowledge can help individual people, groups, and society at large. Study includes thorough exploration of theory and content, critical thinking skills and research, applications and values of the discipline, information and technological literacy, sociocultural and international awareness, and personal development.
