At Brooklyn College since 1992, the CUNY Graduate Center since 1997, and currently Chair of the Department of Classics, Brooklyn College. Leonard and Claire Tow Professor 2006-2008. Several times Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, Berlin (Germany).
