Live Webcast of Brooklyn College's Eighty-fifth Commencement Exercises will be available on May 27, 2010.

PREPARING FOR COMMENCEMENT 2010

When and where is the 2010 commencement ceremony going to be held?

Rain or shine on Thursday, May 27, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Commencement Exercises will be held on the Quadrangle of Brooklyn College, one of the most beautiful campuses in the nation. Only those with commencement tickets will be admitted to the commencement area during that period. With the continuing changes necessitated by our campus growth, there may be fewer seats; therefore, it is even more important this year to complete the graduation eligibility process in a timely manner to obtain seating for your guests.

What must I do to be eligible to participate in Commencement Exercises?

You must file a diploma card with the Registrar's Office. This initiates a degree audit that determines your eligibility to participate in the ceremony and should also result in your name appearing in the Commencement Program.

Participation in the 2010 Commencement Exercises is limited to those students who have graduated in September 2009, February 2010, or are graduation candidates for June 2010.  The graduates who have attended an earlier commencement ceremony for the same degree are not eligible to attend the 2010 commencement ceremony.

When will I receive commencement tickets information?

If you are found eligible for graduation after filing with the Office of the Registrar, you should receive a commencement information postcard by the end of April 2010. The postcard will contain ticket pick-up information. Consult the Commencement 2010 web site for further information as it becomes available.

Commencement tickets are not for sale.

BEST WISHES TO THE GRADUATES OF 2010!
