Scholarships, Awards, and Departmental Prizes

As a public institution, Brooklyn College is committed to ensuring that education is accessible to all, especially those with limited financial means. Although the costs of higher education continue to increase, the college seeks to maintain this principle. As state and federal student aid grants decline, the college is continually expanding its effort to reach its most talented and motivated students in order that they may achieve their educational goals.

The Brooklyn College Foundation offers more than six hundred scholarships and departmental awards, valued at $1.5 million annually, helping to provide access and excellence to the best and most ambitious students.
