Youth Voter Education Film ScreeningIn October 2008, the Center partnered with the Educational Video Center (EVC) to show a student-produced film, Journeys Through the Red White and Blue, regarding youth voter participation. Students, faculty and staff from Brooklyn College attended, and following the screening of the film, engaged a panel of student filmmakers, EVC staff, and a representative from the Brooklyn College Office of Civic Engagement and Student Diversity Programs. The event was sponsored by the Center for the Study of Brooklyn, and the panel discussion was facilitated by Gretchen Maneval, the Center's Director.
