An Assistant Professor of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Brett Branco’s research has focused on water quality and the ecology of Prospect Park Lake in Brooklyn, the impacts of water quality and hydrodynamics on oyster restoration in NY Harbor, and water quality and marsh loss in Jamaica Bay. His research has also included urban food production with aquaponics. Methodologies and analyses of his research include field data collection, unattended monitoring stations and numerical modeling. Branco has collaborated with the Prospect Park Alliance, the National Park Services and NY/NJ Bayskeeper.

John Chamberlain's Website
A Professor of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Brooklyn College, John Chamberlain has written several papers in peer reviewed geological journals and given several presentations at professional meetings on the preservation of post-glacial to near modern organisms on the local beaches of Brooklyn and New York City. He has also conducted published research on the biology and behavior of freshwater bivalves living in ponds on Staten Island.
