Barbara Winslow's Website
Barbara Winslow is an Associate Professor in the School of Education and in the Women’s Studies Program at Brooklyn College. She is the author of Sylvia Pankhurst: Sexual Politics and Political Activism (St. Martins Press, New York, 1996) and the co-editor and author of Clio in the Classroom:A Guide to Teaching US Women’s History (Oxford University Press, New York, 2009) as well as numerous articles on the women’s liberation movement, women’s history and women’s activism. She is the founder and Director of the Shirley Chisholm project of Brooklyn Women’s Activism, 1945 to the present. She is currently writing a book on Shirley Chisholm.
