Brooklyn Educational Opportunities Council Data Analysis and Mapping Project
In 2012, the Brooklyn Educational Opportunities Council (BEOC) asked the Center for the Study of Brooklyn to help it identify pockets of adult English language learners, veterans who may need additional training to obtain their GED or college preparation, and populations with high rates of high school drop outs in order for BEOC to prioritize and target their programs and services for these populations in Brooklyn.Click here to view the final report, which was released in June 2012: English Language Literacy, Veterans, and Adults without a High School Diploma in Brooklyn, 2008-2010.
