Position Desired:

Music Supervisor

Brief Description:

Over the past six years, I have worked a wide range of jobs and internships; from Jim Jarmusch's production office to the A&R department at Island/Def Jam Records. As a freelance music writer, my work as appeared on the pages of magazines such as Blender and CMJ. As a DJ, I have performed for crowds in New York, Las Vegas, and Austin. Because of my varied working background, I have become well-acquainted not only with a wide range of musical genres, but also the relationship between the film and music industries. I will work with you on not only selecting the music that will enhance your film, but also assist you in licensing that music. With downloading killing the music industry, labels and publishing companies have become more aggressive with enforcing copyright law. This has led to many film festivals cracking down on films with unlicensed music. Simply put: without licensed music, many festivals won't show your movie. I will work within your budget to find affordable music from unsigned and up-and-coming artists that will help tell your story. So if you are interested, shoot me an email and we'll talk about your project and what direction you want to go in musically.

Kaitlin Bleier

Position Desired:

Script Supervisor, Production Manager, Production Assistant

Brief Description:

I recently relocated to NYC to pursue a career switch to TV/film. Since January, I have worked on a variety of freelance projects, mostly in a production capacity, in addition to maintaining my former "day job" at a prominent cancer research hospital in Boston. Since I am still new to the industry, I am interested in finding a position that will not only be a learning experience, but will also allow for professional development.

My production experience includes script supervising on two independent short films and a series of promotional commercials for an independent theater (the Coolidge Theatre Foundation). In addition, I assisted on the IFF Boston 2007, volunteering on a wide variety of tasks leading up to and during the festival. I also worked as a production assistant for a production company (20 American Dollars) as part of Boston's annual 48 Hour Film Project for which we earned a "Best Of" Audience Award. In my other work experience, most recently at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, I have been able to develop a strong foundation in effective oral and written communication and analysis while also gaining valuable experience as an executive level administrator. Whether working autonomously or as a member of a team, I have routinely handled complex challenges that require me to act quickly and decisively to provide effective solutions. My ability to multi-task effectively has been a key aspect of my success in my career and has provided me with the confidence to handle new challenges with ease.

I am confident that my previous production work coupled with me business experience would make me an invaluable asset to any project. Please contact me if you know of open positions that would consider someone with my background, commitment, and drive to break into the industry. Also, do not hesitate to contact me if you any additional questions regarding my background or experience. Thank you – I look forward to speaking with you soon.
