Certified as a Registered Dietitian (RD), Dietitian/Nutritionist (CDN), and a Fellow of the American Dietetic Association (FADA), Lifetime recognition. Favorite Teacher Award, chosen by June 2005 Brooklyn College Graduates. Started teaching at B.C. in 1975. Have taught and/or developed curricula in 29 different nutrition courses including: clinical dietetics, chemistry, exercise, community/public health, life cycle, geriatrics, and food science. Introduced use of computerized Dietary Analysis to all students in my introductory nutrition classes. Developed community nutrition education materials and programs on cancer risk reduction funded by the American Cancer Society. Credited with over 50 invited presentations to professional and community audiences. Member of the Nutrition Faculty and Related Interests-Networking Group of CUNY Nutrition Faculty, and is a founding member of the Public Policy Committee of the New York City Nutrition Education Network.

Areas of Expertise:
Published work extends to diverse areas. Research interests: in the area of nutrition education of the community with an emphasis on cultural diversity and related diet and health risk factors. Studied several different immigrant Asian populations at different stages of the life cycle. Authored articles on vitamin and mineral supplementation for athletes and a monograph titled "Vitamin Requirements and Deficiencies: Theoretical and Practical Considerations for Athletes".
