Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).
At Brooklyn College, courses taught include: Personal & Community Health, School & Community Health Education, Community Health Program Planning, Health Program Evaluation, Health Education Techniques, Healthy Aging, International Health, US Health Care System and Health Administration. Research interest includes: Health of the Elderly, Women's Reproductive Rights, Mental Health Care in Japan.

Areas of Expertise:
Health Education's main mission is to help individuals and community achieve higher level of health; first through individual behavioral changes,as well as extending efforts to the social, organizational, economic, regulatory and other environmental factors that interact with personal behavior in affecting health. It covers both individual health and that of the entire population.
One of my focus at Brooklyn College is to train young people to become effective health educators for our society.
